Mike is the firm's principal consultant. He also directs long-range development and oversees operations. Mike has 26 years of experience in fund raising and nonprofit management. He served as director of development for the Menninger Foundation and vice president of development for St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, both in Topeka. In 1994, he founded Partners In Philanthropy, Inc., a full-service fund raising and management consulting firm.

Mike lectures and writes extensively and is an adjunct faculty member at Washburn University. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in English.


Wendy D. Doyle

Wendy utilizes more than twelve years experience in fund raising and corporate communications in meeting clients’ needs for campaign, major and planned gift, and constituent communications expertise. Previously, she served as National Development Director for the National Kidney Foundation and Director of Development at Crittenton, part of the Saint Luke’s Shawnee Mission Health System. Wendy is vice president of the Council on Philanthropy in Kansas City and received its President’s Award in 1999 and 2000. She also served on the Boards of Directors of Rockhurst University Alumni Association and Civic Opera Theater of Kansas City. She graduated with a degree in English from Rockhurst University.

 

Tina Heinz Labellarte

Tina applies the experience of 23 years in fund raising and nonprofit management to help clients build capacity and operate efficiently. She served as executive director of the Topeka Chapter of the American Red Cross after having worked as a national staff consultant to 100 chapters in four states. In Grand Island, Nebraska, Tina served as executive director for the United Way, YWCA and Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as planned and major gifts officer for the Stuhr Museum and community services director of Goodwill Industries.

Tina taught fund raising at Washburn University in Topeka and frequently presents at national and regional conferences. She received the Tiffany Award of Excellence in Management from the American National Red Cross in 2002 and was recognized with the Woman of the Year Award in 1993 by the Grand Island Daily Independent. She graduated with a degree in journalism from Northern Illinois University.

 

Timothy J. McManus

Tim works with nonprofit executives and boards of directors in actively recruiting top managers including chief executive officers and chief development officers. He helps organizations develop position descriptions, performance standards, incentive plans and competitive compensation packages. Through personal contact with an extensive network of professionals, Tim matches the right person to an organization's vision, culture and expectations. Tim served as director of employee relations at the world-renown Menninger Foundation for 14 years. His prior experience in vocational services followed a master's degree in vocational counseling from Emporia State University. Tim also received a bachelor's degree in sociology and business administration from the College of Emporia.

Patty oversees our accounting, billing and information systems. She is responsible for making sure that accounts are accurate and databases are up-to-date. Patty was previously employed at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Topeka as the vice presidents' executive assistant. She earned a degree in business administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
